9 month pics!

Back in November, I attended a benefit for a friend's niece. I won a photo shoot with photographer Carrie Coan of Caroline Photography in the silent auction. We finally cashed that certificate in for Kennedy's 9 month pictures. They turned out FANTASTIC!

Baptism

Kennedy was baptized yesterday. It was a beautiful service. She did REALLY well. No crying or anything, when she was being baptized, although Jeff did have to take her out of the service for a little while. She had decided there wasn't quite enough singing for her taste, so she added her own! LOL.
She handled the day very well...although she was melting down by the end of pictures. I need to get better about putting my foot down with that stuff. I let people bully me into taking "just a few more", but I KNEW she had reached her limit. Turns out, I was right. Mommy instinct wins again. She took a 4 hour nap when we got home because she was SO exhausted...but then she slept like crap all night, which is pretty standard when we let her get to the point she got on Sunday. No more! Even "just 5 more minutes" is just too far over the edge for her.

St. Pats!

Melanie and I took Seth and Briana to the St. Paul St. Patrick's day parade on Tuesday. It was kinda cold, and it was very crowded, but we still had fun. Kennedy really enjoyed watching the bagpipes and Seth and Briana loved catching the candy the marchers threw. Kennedy even got her first Vulcan kiss!!! Although, they only got half of the "V" made before she decided the face paint stick looked tasty! Ha ha!
After that, Kennedy and I hung out at mom's house and stayed for a fantastic corned beef and cabbage dinner! And, I got to see Kennedy's almost finished baptism gown. It is BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait for Kennedy to wear it on Sunday!

The beads she got from one of the marchers, she loved to just have them hanging from her mouth. They were apparently VERY tasty!!

Then, on Wednesday, we went to the Albertville Outlet mall with Beth and Anne. We had a blast, and got some REALLY great deals! Beth bought Kennedy (and Cole) their first pairs of converse shoes for 5BUCKS!!! They're really cute! We also got some cute clothes for 2 dollars a piece at Children's Place...and I found a great deal on an aerogarden I'm considering going back for!
While walking between stores, Anne and I put Kennedy on one of the preschool rides. We had to hold her the whole time, but she loved it!!! Here's a couple of pictures from the ride.

we have toothage

Yep, you read it right. The beginning of a tooth poked through yesterday. Now poppa needs to be careful about that nose...:)

Nothing much else to add besides that. Melanie came over yesterday so I could sleep (and go to knitting childless), and she took some cute videos and pics of K. Most specifically of her new growling noise that she does. Here's a couple of them.
